Tip 4. MOVE IT! STAND UP, SIT DOWN, Change it up! You gotta move it it to lose it! So, whether you sit down or stand up at work may actually play a bigger role in your health and your waistline than your exercise regimen. A recent study by Missouri University discovered that inactivity of 4 hours or more can cause a virtual shutdown of an enzyme that controls your bodies fat and cholesterol metabolism. This makes you store more fat rather than burning it for energy. To offset this shutdown and keep this enzyme active, which will increase your fat burning process, you need to break up your routine. If your confined to a desk take a break and walk around the office, up a flight of stairs, or even just take a moment and stand/sit, stand/sit, stand/sit a few times to keep your body active. Don't let your body get inactive or stay in the same position for more than a couple of hours without some sort of active break.
We also suggest taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking father away from the entrance than usual, taking a walk around your home or office building, or even using a pair of stationary bike pedals under your desk to keep body moving and breaking up your routine.

As we continue our discussion on boosting your metabolism and burning more fat naturally, let's talk about Organic Foods. Whether your on a diet like the HCG Miracle Diet or just trying to be more health conscience these tips and suggestions can help you motivate your body to burn more fat each day and help you live a happier fuller life.
3. GO ORGANIC In a recent study, Canadian scientist found that dieters with higher levels of pesticide toxins called organochlorines, which are stored in fat cells, have a greater drop in metabolism as they lose weight. This is thought to be because the pesticide toxins hinder the energy-burning process. Therefore, pesticides that are built up in your fat cells make it harder to burn fat and lose weight. Other research points to the conclusion that pesticides actually cause weight gain.
Another study may even finally end the ongoing debate over the benefits of organic food, according to recent results from a $25-million study into organic food funded by the European-Union researchers found that:
- Organic fruit and vegetables contain up to 40 percent more antioxidants
- Organic produce had higher levels of beneficial minerals like iron and zinc
- Milk from organic herds contained up to 90 percent more antioxidants
The study was done by growing fruit and vegetables, and raising cattle, on side by side organic and non-organic farms. The difference was so dramatic that the the report stated that eating organic foods could help to significantly improve the nutrient intake of those who don’t eat the recommended five servings of fruits and vegetables a day.
Naturally, buying organic can be expense. But the key is to buy only the right organic products and pass on those where being organic is not as big of an issue. For example it is not necessary to buy organic onions, avocado, or grapefruit. But you should buy organic celery, peaches, strawberries, apples, blueberries, nectarines, sweet bell peppers, spinach, kale / collard greens, cherries, potatoes, and imported grapes; as these items tend to have unsafe levels of pesticide residue and toxins.
Even more concerning than the Organic vs. Non-Organic is that of Non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) vs. GMO foods. We strongly advise against the consumpotion of any GMO food items! Put that's a story for a different day!

Taking it One Day at a Time: The Key to Success!

So you decided to start the HCG Diet or any diet? Here are some keys to help you succeed and reach your goals. The key is to take it one step at a time, don't think about how am I going to do this for 30 or 40 days but rather: "What am I going to do today?" Taking it one day at a time can help you prove to yourself that you can do it! This will boost your confidence and motivation to do it again tomorrow! We tend to lose sight of our goals, especially when we see that piece of chocolate cake and are reminded of how "deprived" we've been. Taking it one step at a time and thinking of each day as the first day of your diet will help keep you on track.
Now, here are a few pointers to help you plan for today and to make it count:
Step 1: Make a VERBAL Commitment to stick to your Diet!
Wake up each morning and recommit to sticking to the program today! Say it out loud: "Today I will stick to my Diet!" This helps you keep your motivation and your willpower on track. So, as you get out of bed speak aloud: "I am going to follow the program for the next 24 hours, I can and I will do it." Then remind yourself of the reasons why your losing the weight and changing your life. (Is it because of your health? Your family? That gorgeous little black dress you have hidden in the closet?) Whatever it is, thinking about it as you are get ready for your day.
Step 2: VISUALIZE your Goal!
Before you start your diet take a picture of yourself in your underwear (eek!) or find an unflattering picture of yourself, you know the one I'm talking about, the one that makes you look "fat". Now keep that picture handy, put it on your bathroom mirror or on the refrigerator door. Look at that picture every day and say "TODAY I choose to become a healthier, slimmer me!" Now, find a picture of something that motivates you from a positive perspective, something that represents your goal. Either, a picture of how you used to look or that new back dress you want to fit into or even a picture of your kids, anything that motivates you and reminds you of why you are losing weight. Put that in a conspicuous place and refer back to it often. Tape it to your computer monitor or make it your computer or phone's wallpaper. Visualizing your goal can be a powerful tool in staying on track, doing it daily is the key!
Step 3: DO Something Completely Different Every Day
I call it the "Costanza effect", remember George Costanza from Seinfeld? Well, in one episode, George decides to do the opposite of what he usually does and the result is a total transformation in his life, at least for that episode. Changing it up a bit can help you break out of old mindsets and patterns and make you more open to overall change. Remember, that's the whole point of committing to this program, to CHANGE your life! Take the stairs instead of the elevator, park the farthest from the store entrance instead of circling waiting for the closest spot to open up. Drink a glass of water or tea instead of soda. Do something different ever day! Break up your routine and get your self ready for change! Assess your habits and routine, determine to make at least one change each day!
These few steps can serve as the building blocks of a happier, healthier you! It's just a start but taking life and dieting one day at a time can and will keep you on track to Discover a Whole New You!

During a clinical trial of seventy-five obese people who had become obese due to over-eating and lack of exercise, echography sensors proved that the Oolong tea decreased the thickness of subcutaneous fat after only six weeks of use.
For the individuals that had higher than standard triglycerides and cholesterol before the test, post trial testing showed that triglycerides and cholesterol levels clearly dropped in some people.
As an added benefit to the study, sixty-seven percent of people lost weight. Between the animal study and human trials, it has been confirmed that Oolong tea promotes fat metabolism and controls obesity.
